Models Direct = BAD!

you have to pay like £200 per year of submission in their books.
my friend was also in it and didnt find work!

my friend went to the blue rooms on thursday got hair make up andphoto's done she said she enjoyed her day she said she paid £50 deposit non refunded at the end of the day they said to get her folio done she had to pay £500 her mam and friend did not have enough money on them so paid most of it not expecting to pay this amount of money they agreed to post photo's out later after reading this i see she might not even recieve them i will keep posted if she does

But they often IMPLY they are - this deception is what makes them their money -just look at their google sponsor ads (show at the top in a google search for model agencies etc) -

heading in bold - 'Model Agency'
followed by - 'Scouting Now'

If ads really had to be 'legal, decent & honest' they would loose half of theirs (and probably go bust!)

If modeladvice.info is their site it all looks a bit dodgy - next workshop event is still listed as August 2008, they say they set up because no one else gave modelling advice (have you never googled - there's thousands!) they say they are now the leading - funny how UK government sites list Alba and not them foir modelling information. Appears to be a front for a Diesel /Blue Rooms style operation

my portfolio images are from diesel models as well, ive been told they arent marketable enough. how irritating...

Models Direct are terrible! I signed with them two years ago when I was starting out, and I didn't know alot, and my mum signed me with them straight away. So many people are still being fooled by them, its crazy! The only time they contact me now is to subscribe to there 'magazine' and Super Star account.
