Depends on what size & quality you want. If you only want 6X4 etc try Harvey Norman or equivlent.
I print most of my own. but if l want ones larger than l can for exhibitions etc, l go to Bond in Richmond or Vanbar Carlton/Nth Melb. You would need to check but it might be possible to email images or send on CD,if too far to physically go.

I bought an A3 printer from Trade Me for $84, it was a Canon Pixma 9000, then purchased an ink kit from a company in Melbourne, a chip resetter for £28, A3 Canvas for $1 a sheet and I was printing them at a cost of $7 each and sold them at $86, obviously the smaller the print the cheaper it was.......failing that get them printed from the States, very cheap and very quick.

Hi -

Where were you going?
I live in local area, and while I don't do a lot of printing... I'd rather avoid using a buisness that wouldn't appreciate my custom.

Cheers,

A

I still have not chosen a Lab, but the two main problems where Kmart and Big W.... Big W where particularly anoying cause it was obvious the problem is a silly extremist dick Chistian shop assistant who complained about the "Porn"... (I.E Lingerie shots, not even nude)

Best Pro Lab I've found and with reasonable prices is

Paul Williams in Poole Dorset.

Next door to Robert Whites in Alder Hills.

Paul is incredibly helpful and approachable and used to print the works of Kevin from UK National Magazines fame and renown judge of many competitions.

Shame I moved to Australia because I cannot rate him enough.

Sorry, There's a Ringwood in Dorset, UK.

I'm in WA and use Fitzgeralds, in Fitzgerald St, Perth.

They have an on-line submission area and I cannot rate there quality enough.

Mm Wonder if that lab would print Spencer Tunick's images or any photos taken by onlookers? Or woulkd that be porn too. Perhaps get a group of photographers to bombard that lab with som art nude images in protest and see what happens.

They're in Heidelberg and have no issues with printing anything, but would appreciate a warning if there are images that they may not want underage customers to see accidentally.
