In portfolios, when you hover the cursor over images down the right to get the image details pop up, the pop up can disappear off to the right of the browser and can be unreadable.

This happens if the browser is not wide enough and/or it's a fairly wide image. Only tested in Firefox, but would imagine would happen in other browsers.

Would suggest the the info box/pop up comes up to the left of images that are on the right.

Just tried on your own pics in IE8 & it seems fine.
The pop up details box does not diassapear or fall off the edge of the page.

Comments for the next browser pls......!

Does the same in Opera 11.01 and 11.10 (RC 3). You get a scrollbar on the bottom of the page.

Which in FireFox you can scroll using the Right Arrow key.

Most browsers do this

Still it's bad UX design really.

Just tried it in IE8 myself, and it exhibits the same behaviour. It does need the browser window to be relatively narrow, and for there to be be a wide image.

I'll use Dominika's profile as an example: http://Dominika.net-model.com (nothing wrong with her profile, just an example). The triptych image down on the right definitely does it.

BTW, widening the browser isn't always an option (if someone is on a netbook for an example), and expecting people to use the right arrow key to scroll isn't really ideal either.

Well.. I just repeated the test - with Dominika's profile and I can see that a problem could occur, in that a couple of the 'wider' images do push the pop up towards the edge, but with my monitor (which is a 22 inch widescreen) its still fine - all info visible.

Sorry.. but its OK for me...

Having said that, if others have problems - and I do not doubt the reports - then it should be fixed & should quite straightforward IMHO...

Get a wider monitor.
I have no problem with Firefox 4

Just to follow up on this. The issue that was causing the tooltip to push off the screen has been fixed. The tooltip will now appear on the left side of the thumbnail if there is not sufficient room on the right side. This was just one of the many fixes that was pushed to the site this evening.
