So five models dropped out, it rained and then it rained some more.. Never mind what a top day !
I will be posting some images as soon as sorted, in the mean time please enjoy some of the absolutely stunning results acheived by excellent models, very good photographers and an outstanding location.

Thanks for a great day David, I had a really good time. You and Harriet were wonderful supplying us all with drinks all day and the home made cakes were lovely! The fact it rained didn't deter any of us in such a brilliant location Can't wait to see the results Remember that happiness is as contagious as gloom

I can only echo what SarahJane says, Great location + Great models = Great Shoot. Plenty of indoor and sheltered locations to be used when dodging showers or if it got really bad back for tea and fantastic home-made cakes. An excellent job done Dave, don't forget to include me on the next one

Thank you David and Harriet for organising this shoot at this excellent location.
Thank you both also for the plentiful suppy of coffee and the first class homemade cakes.
Please give me the heads up on any more shoots at Top Forge.
As others have said the rain did not matter with so many indoor locations to work in.

And a heart felt endorsement from me too: stunning location and lots of possibilities for cameos: great find David and thank you so much for organising. I'll reserve my thanks to the models until tomorrow when I post a few results.

Thanks so much to David for organising such a brilliant shoot at such an amazing location. Thanks also to Harriet and team for the cups of tea which were very much appreciated. As others have said... when everything else is wonderful, the rain doesnt matter. Here are a few of my efforts from the day... but I got so many fabulous images I will be posting more. Many thanks to my beautiful Araminta for being my model for the day. Dont dream it ......Be it.

It was a pity that my hired battery pack for my studio lights was creating difficulties which meant that Francesca and I had so few shots together. Thanks Francesca.

On to Amy Tall whose striking elegant red gown provided such a contrast to the workshop.

Thanks to Amy for the indoors shots and for defying the rain to get to the big beam engine: at least she was in the dry for the shots there but sometimes one has to suffer for ones hobby . Still there was always the fire to provide some welcome warmth. This post contains an adult image. You must be logged in to view this image.

I loved the scullery: tiny room but a wealth of history and detail. This post contains an adult image. You must be logged in to view this image.

I said to Sarah Jane before hand that my shots frequently have minimalistic clothing so she didn't pack much Thanks Sarah you are a star: I could post loads more pictures of you but I'll let the other photographers show some of the other locations. I'm spending so much time looking at the results of those much better than me that I havn't started processing yet.
I've sent a big thank you to Ted and John and explained a little about setting up a "studio / location" for the site - have to wait and see what they think.
