1) What decided your user name?
2) What would be your first choice of user name?
3) Do you think that your user name defines you and affects the amount / type of work you get (as a model) or how models react to you (as a photographer)?
New! 4) Do the names of those that you look to work with, or who look to work with you influence your decision at all?
For me
1) It's my name and I've been here so long it was available in those early days
2) As above really.
3) Hopefully it conveys a simple honest approach to my hobby and my treatment of the MUAs and Models who work with me.
4) Yes, the name and the write up is my first view on the potential models / MUA's personality and that for me is key.

Mine use thing personal to me but different enough that people shouldn't find my profile should they search on my real name. This is important due to my work as a teacher - I don't want the kids finding out too much about my personal life or hobbies. Ideally I'd like my real name. What impression does it give? Dunno - better ask others that!

Been married twice. Helped make and then left two homes due to not wanting to share my wife with another man, leaving everything behind but my computer and music. I have two exes with nice homes. What other name would fit so well?

1. CB handle as a kid ~30 years ago (big fan of US TV series/films with truckers & hillbillies)
2. This is my first choice
3. Everybody seems to have heard of me when I meet them, haven't yet sussed whether it's for good or bad reasons - in this case ignorance is bliss.

1) Can't remember 2) Hugh Jampton 3) No - a lot of people think that Orson Carter is a proper name. (Just like a couple of other pseudonyms - Roland Butter and R.Supwards.)

Mine comes from the first letter of my surname 'H' When I was at work most people called me Mr H or just H then someone tagged on the ee bit and it stuck.
It's my first choice and i like it as it is pretty unique, doesn't affect my work one way or another.

1) My mother called me that originally and it sorta stuck.
2) In the beginning my name was TNPhotos, but people got confused, they thought Tony Nutley and TNPhotos were two different people, once I seriously stopped working for the first time, I changed it to help them. I never worked out who they preferred.
3) How do models react? They used to fall to their knees or curtsy, lately they just react with contempt.

1, It was nearest my own name I could get. 2, Sarah 3, It defines me as a model, ie Sarahjane model, but not who I am - Sarah. Most people here call me Sarah-Jane......... I HATE it, I really would prefer just plain Sarah, as that is who I am and I am no different as a model to the person I am in my day to day life As for what impression it gives, well, I don't know but, like MrsC, I'm still working so I guess it works. 1) It was a name generator. When I was approaching 30 I toyed with the idea of starting burlesque. Had a go with a workshop but decided I wasn't brave enough to perform on stage. Settled on this one because purple is my favourite colour. I can't use my real name due to being identified IRL. 2) I might've preferred to change it to a more regular sounding name like the name I have on facebook - Violet Leys. 3) I don't think it has so far, although I'm only a hobbyist.

1. My real name is quite unique, when I signed up to this site I wasnt sure if I would be good enough to model, and I have had a few d*ckheads in my life if they found I was on a modelling site would probably get in touch and tell me I was too ugly and all that, so hiding for now! Bella is the name of a pony I had 2. I will probably change to real name when I have a bigger portfolio - Maybe 3. If a photographer contacted me with a pervy name it may put me off!

1) I worked in a Aircraft treatments factory and this Aircraft is a particular favorite, parts commanding huge amounts of money... 2) Tornado 3) Blimey don't now the answer to that one. I am called Flash at work because I move and do things slowly. So the answer is prob no as a Tornado is very fast and sleek, and sexy... Deff No then Life is a kalidoscope of conflicting conflictions.

For anyone re-reading this. I've added item 4 as I'm wondering if others take the write ups / names as seriously as I do or whether it's just all in the image.
