I noticed the site has "premium members only" forum which I totally get but how is it possible for a non premium member to have posted in that forum? (The thread creator has no icon next to their name)

I assume that it's an old thread, and when it was started the OP was a paying member. But since then, he's one of the many who have downgraded to free membershp.

At least, that's what I reckon.

Is the post recent?

Many premium members have not renewed their subscriptions hence maybe they were a premium member when the submitted the post.

I don't know but I can say if the member has downgraded then wouldn't they have had their pictures removed? (just been reading an old thread in this forum about downgraded accounts retaining their images)

On this site no, it's a 'feature' of the site that you can pay, upload dozens of images and then cancel. Once you've cancelled all your images stay providing you don't alter your profile.

Some members have cottoned onto this and are unfairly abusing this bug to get a larger portfolio than they should otherwise be entitiled to.

Sadly the plug was pulled on the thread where I highlighted this. This was due to the vitriol aimed at me for my so-called horrible attitude towards these people who considered themselves stalwarts of this site and as such they argued they were more than entitled to the benefits of abusing this system.

Thankfully many of these pricks have now left (spitting the dummy out at their mistreatment, and the fact I highlighted several of them also had multiple profiles) and James (the site's owner) did seem to eventually take action against many of the profiles of people that remain.

I seem to recall finding about 30 profiles of 'forum regulars' on here who were taking advantage of this, which was quite a sizeable proportion of the active members of the site, even back then.

Nothing can be done, as there is nobody running the site.
