It is a long time since since I used Photoshop now I only do video. I have recently changed my logo which I use at the end of video and also as a small overlay during the video. Before I recall I produced a large GIFF with clear background and resized as required. However the new image will not save as a GIFF and when saved as a JPeg blocks out the video. Also How do you move the image from the centre to another part of the page in P'shop.
Please put an old man out of his misery.
Video program is Sony Vegas.

Open a new file in PS CS5 that is the same as the video frame size (e.g 1920 x 1080 for HD) but keep it blank then place your logo on a new layer above this.
You can then resize, scale or move the logo layer as required.
Save the file as a TIFF and then import it into Sony Vegas.
You should then be able to 'key' it over video etc.

Thanks RedBaron, that's what I had missed. Very easy when you 'remember' to check the settings.

Colin, that is what I used to do BUT forgot the above so did not work.
