I use old film canisters for a coin purse. (It can hold US quarters. Nothing larger.)

I notice my canisters cracking with age. I needed to get another one.
Suddenly the realization set in. I don't have any more and they are
no longer made. [Oh the horror! Whatever shall I do?]

I don't like the typical coin purse (for guys). They are thin and do not stack
coins well. Lady's coin purse won't fit in a pocket. And the fancy one's are
getting costly.

To my delight, film canisters are still sold on eBay. For some reason the
Kodak type are more expensive.

I've ordered a bunch. Enough for me in the coming decades, and a few to show millennials who seem to find it a curiosity.
