This is an age old question that's been around since TFP/CD first started. And there is still no definative answer. Some photographers still take images the old fashioned way, with film and paper, and so tend to provide less in the way of images, than digital users.

Some togs give out every photo they take, unedited. Some edit the best and only release them. So, there is no way to say what is average.

Best thing is to ask the tog before the shoot what you'll expect to get, and negotiate with them until you're both happy.

84 really? so about 25 over 2 shoots isn't really good?

I think he was joking. Dont know about others but i try to give model a disc of raw images on the day and then will tweak a selection of 6 to 20 choosen by model.

All depends on your agreement. Some models personally like a copy of all pictures taken. I'm not a fan of this as if the mod posts images that have not gone through post-production then I would consider these as sub-standard and would not want them seen and then there is the whole issue of someone else photoshopping the unedited images and doing a substandard job, which the tog may not approve of. So I usually state a minimum number of EDITED and then any more than that is a bonus

Oh i made a mistake, just found another file on the disc of the unedited ones. ooops...
