The rope image does it for me, there all good, but its the 1st one that rocks my bells, its dark n sexy with a hint of 'sum n sum', and some excellent selective blur on the 2nd image makes the image slightly surrealy 'pop' (im not sure 'surreally' is an actual word)

A good set Scott but no less than I would expect from you. This is a style that divides people, I am one of those who really like it and think that it brings some drama to a shot.
My favourite is the first one with the third as next favourite.
Constructive criticism, I wonder if a thick black border would help on the first three. I say this because I found with my own snaps that if I have gone for a very dark and textured look, it helps lift the light parts if the whole shot is on a black background. Might be worth an experiment.
There is a dreadlock in image two which is soft and because it is both light and central, I find it distracting but that might just be me.
Good work from you both and well worth the effort.
Look to camera, smile and sparkle. That's ace, ace baby!

Thank you Linton and Ace for your comments. I have re-edited number two to take out the dreadlock I'm not sure if it make a better image, any thoughts appreciated. Consistently Inconsistent

The post processing is superb, care to share?
I'll try and remeber and write something down but I'm usualy a bit vague on these things I'm afraid. I just tend to keep tweaking that mousey thing until I get something resembling a picture I like.

That first image is superb Scott, well done!
P.S. I prefer #2 with the blurry dread.

I have to say, much belatedly, that these are probably my favourite ever images of Elle-
I particularly love the first 3- so raw!

Excellent work Scott.
Tell me, is the prop used in the second and third photographs the frame of an adjustable micrometer? It certainly looks like one.
Best wishes, Terry.

Ha ha - charming! I love it but if you mean it's not quite the same style / impact as the others then agreed. It was from the same shoot.

After looking at the original images, and also your portfolio...I just don't think it's flattering to you. Others may disagree but I think it makes you look larger than you are, and you've lost your neck and shape of your face. I'm not being nasty, I'm just being critical with reference to your current (high standard) portfolio. RebeccaAmy <3 Click 'RebeccaAmy: Modelling' below...

Thanks 'retrotog' for resurrecting this thread and for the new comments. Working with Elle was a real treat and I'd recommend anybody who wants to work with a professional model to contact her.
Anybody who has checked my profile recently will have noticed I've stopped shooting models. If my old bones will allow I hope to resume after a short break with renewed enthusiasm and energy.
Edit: Terry, your correct it is a micrometer.

I'm not usually keen on 'rope' shots. But wow! That 1st one is something else!!!! best shot I've seen in a while on here. Number 2 is not far behind either. The rest are great too.
Good work!

Thanks for clarifying Rebecca. I agree I could have had a longer neck but I love the expression, styling, and I think my toned abs show I'm not a big girl - it's just the clothing (it was all massive mens stuff) but that was the idea. All the best Elle
