Creative Studio Lighting 1 - Practical Workshop for beginners

Learning how to set up, use and control lighting is the biggest challenge facing photographers who want to do stuido work. This course will take you for the jounrey where you will learn when, how to use every single piece of lighting equipment. Step-by-step instructions will teach you the concepts of studio lighting and how to apply them to subject you need to photograph. This is a course which will give you a solid technical background so you can achive great pictures on everyday basis.



Audience:
• For beginners who want to get acquainted with studio lighting techniques.
• For intermediate who want to improve their skills and learn more creative lighting set-ups



The course will cover in particular:

- We will give the basic information re working with flash lighting and clearly state the differences between the ambient light and working with flash light - We will demonstrate different effects of using umbrellas, soft boxes, beauty dishsd, snoots, grids , colour gel filters + combination of all of them - We will take you through different light set ups which are good for portrait photography, high fashion photography etc. - You will be able to practice and take pictures with different light modifiers and on different light sets - We will use different backdrops and build light setups for all of them - A model will be provided, so you will be able to take shoots of the model throughout the day within different light setups. - Lighting equipment will be provided (also triggers etc). You need to come with your own camera.
It will be delivered in a relaxed environment so everybody can learn, ask questions and receive practical advice. It will take around 5h; group up to 10 people; fully equipped professional studio;
