A close friend of mine has this offer but I can't comment on Lencarta kit. Anyone have experience?
All my equipment is Lencarta - the units are manufaturered in the same factory as the Bowens units. They've been on about 8 shoots, and cycles probably less than 1000 times in total. All bulbs are in great condition and they've never been used at full power. They have been cycled at regular intervals though to prevent any capacitor degradation. The lights are all standard Bowens S-Fit so getting extra light modifiers for them is dead cheap and easy. Also your umbrella is fully compatible.
the items are: 1x Lencarta ElitePro 600 - 600w Studio strobe with 250w Modelling lamp Strong and durable 600 Ws mono flash head Guide number of 220 Flash duration 1/1000th second 5-stop stepless adjustment
2x Lencarta ElitePro 300 - 300w Studio strobes with 250w Modelling lamps Fan cooled Tough build quality 300 Ws Guide number of 162 5-stop stepless adjustment 0.2 - 1 second recycling
3x Air-Dampened lighting stands + Protective storage / carry case Air cushioned stand Supports up to 7 kg 110 - 280 cm height Light and rigid
2x Standard Light Reflectors Has a rim for honeycombs 55 degree reflector Diameter: 7" Standard fitting Can be used with umbrellas
1x 140cm Octa-Softbox
This softboxes is ideal for whenever soft lighting is needed, and is perfect for portrait and small product photography
It has a deeply recessed outer diffuser so it is also ideal for controlling light spill, especially when using it to light the background or to feather the light.
Fitted with both an inner and an outer diffuser, this softbox can produce both soft lighting and a much harder, specular light. It takes only seconds to remove or replace the diffusers.
Although this softbox has an octagonal shape, the front diffuser is circular, so it produces perfectly round catchlights
2x Radio trigger sets - one 8-channel one 4-channel - (both can be combined using the four basic channels for simultaneously triggering two lights out of visual range where the photo-sensors cannot be used) - One is mains-powered and hooks into the lights power input, the other is battery powered. - Both transmitters are battery powered and just attach to the camera hotshoe - Standard Canon / Nikon size hotshoe.
