We are wrapping up another update to the site. I have posted the design notes below, detailing all of the changes that are being applied to the site over the next few days. There will be a small maintenance window required to finalize the new Payment Manager and Gift system. I expect this to occur later this week in a 4 to 6 hour timeslot at a time when traffic is at a minimum.

Please Note: The homepage will not be released with this update due to the performance increases that we were expecting not being met. There is some new code that we are testing; however, it is not stable enough for release at the time of this posting. I suspect that this will be released in with one of the subsequent hotfixes.

Overview

This update introduces several new features including the gift system, bbCode markup for portfolios, updated layouts for the Payment Manager and forums, as well as a handful of other new features.

We have also added a new feature that allows users the ability to toggle the visibility status of their images. At the moment, the feature permits Visible to All / Hidden from all; however, we will be expanding on this feature with future updates to incorporate more functionality.

Below is the full list of additions and changes to be implemented with this update.


Gift System

The new Gift System allows users to purchase Premium Membership ( Silver, Gold, or Platinum) subscriptions for other Net-Model members (models, photographers, or stylists).

We have added a Gift System F.A.Q. to the Help area.


Payment Manager

Updated layout.

Payments now listed under their respective subscriptions.

Gifts Given, Gifts Received sections added.

Payment Details

Updated layout.

Printer Friendly Receipt link/page added for payments.

Account Manager

Edit Portfolio

bbCode markup now permitted in the notes section for portfolios.

Edit Preferences

Users can now disable receiving Premium Membership gifts.

Portfolios

Users can now toggle the visibility of the images in their portfolios via the Image Manager.

Limited BBCode markup now available in the notes section of portfolios. (Includes bold, italics, underline, strike, quote and lists.)

Image Manager

Image title now works when uploading an image.

Users can now toggle visibility (show/hide) for their images.

Fixed bug that was preventing a category sort when user had images with no category assigned.

Please note: When sorting images, the system will automatically push all non-visible images to the bottom of your sorted image list. For example, if your second image in your portfolio is set to invisible, and then perform any sort (drag-sort, date sort, ...) then second (invisible) image would be set in the last image position in your portfolio.
