What is thread hijacking?
Posted by escape on 01-05-2009 11:00pm.

Thread hijacking is the attempt to either derail or steer a forum discussion off topic by submitting a post that is completely irrelevant to the subject at hand. Please be considerate of your fellow members and refrain from posting off-topic in a discussion. If your post has little or no relevance to the thread, please start a new one.

While we want to ensure that the forums have a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, we also want to promote mature and intelligent conversation. Users that continue to make a habit of making off topic posts in an obvious attempt to derail a thread will either have their portfolios suspended, have ALL of their forum posts removed, or possibly lose access to the forums. Repeat offenders will simply be deleted and banned from the site.
