Photographer Notes
Collaborative shoots sought: This is where no money passes either way + where effort and encouragement is equally shared:

Looks and figure (and photo shoot experience) = a SECONDARY requirement to enthusiasm, an engaging personality + good communication skills. In fact I have MANY times preferred shooting 'non-models'.

My ideal 'model' would be someone who is happy in their own skin + can see the merits in a mainly minimalist approach ... yet who appreciates that some shoots deserve more pre-planning. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate a chameleon approach here.

Increasingly so for me ... It's all about the ambient mood, the lighting & feel of the environment - all contributing to an ENGAGING (vs. COLD image). Make-up that is excessive or 'misplaced' for the shoot concept or surroundings = something I avoid.

PLEASE: Let's just keep things manageable and fun (less is more). I enjoy the dynamic of a collaborative shoot & where it is clear that my shooting style and environmental flavour is mutually appreciated.

Andrew :)
