Current Projects / Interests
I have a lengthy and diverse experience in the photographic industry. In Singapore, I was a freelance event and wedding photographer, and hobbyist portrait photographer. In Melbourne, I worked as a studio portrait photographer, a Fujifilm Frontier photo-finishing operator, then worked in sales at a leading supplier of studio equipment (Dragon Image P/L). Presently, I work as a photographic technician in Australia's largest Canon/Nikon authorised camera repair company (Camera Clinic P/L) repairing/modifying professional digital cameras and lenses.

My picture ideas/themes change with season and time, and I may juggle a few at a time. Feel free to contact me for my latest inspiration.

Photographer Notes
Unlike many male photographers, I don't photograph only women, and give you a lousy excuse why I exclude men. I strive for diversity in my images, practice for versatility in my skill, and step out of my comfort zone to do different ideas/themes/genres with people of many cultures. In Melbourne, I have photographed people who were born in Australia (duh?), Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Oman, Sweden, Germany, UK, US, Canada, and more.

Models must work hard towards success and fame. Similarly, photographers must work smart with their equipment, but as a photographer and camera repairer, I know some don't know how to use their gear, but just brag about having it.

Just like other photographers, my images speak for me. If you like my work, write me a compliment, and feel free to propose modeling for, or collaborating with, me.

Everyone starts from nothing, and I'm happy to work with amateur or beginner models, and I have done so several times. If your profile is mostly do-it-yourself mobile phone snapshots, it requires major improvement. Models with snapshots demanding fees are ridiculous.

I believe conservatism retards progress, and fear stops advancement. Unlike many Asian-migrants in Australia who tend to remain conservative, I'm powered by an open mind, and driven by forward thinking. By the numbers, I'm truely 1 of Melbourne's most liberal Asian-migrant photographers. I seek to work with open minds who aren't prejudiced against me, and aren't judgemental against my imagery. I seek models who are courageous and creative. If you share a similar positive attitude, I look forward to hearing from you.

For peace of mind, I have no objections with models bringing a chaperone but won't pay any costs involving the chaperone. ( Bookmark )
