Current Projects / Interests

I prefer location / natural light work, but I am happy to use a studio set up when required, or use an interesting indoor location.

I am looking to do more fashion / lifestyle shoots in the future, but will still be working to other styles. I am specifically wanting to do a few 'street fashion' & 'funky/punky fashion' shoots, mainly on location.

Although I prefer to work with experienced models (and, YES, I am happy to pay them), I am also willing to consider TFCD shoots with promising beginners or models needing new shots, so feel free to ask, if you like my work.

I still have a number of (non-model related) photography projects lined up for 2010/11 however, so I don't have time to fit in very many shoots with models this year. Please bear this in mind if you ask for TFCD and I turn you down because 'I am too busy', this will probably be the truth and not because you aren't good enough.

Published Works / Past Projects
Worked as a freelance back in the 1980s, with various shots published in magazines, plus general stuff for local papers as well as weddings, portraits, model portfolios etc.

I eventually gave up freelancing and closed my studio down, because I love photography and it was becoming too much like work, as opposed to a pleasure. I decided to keep it enjoyable and gave up shooting stuff that I didn't enjoy, photography has been a great hobby ever since.

Photographer Notes
I have been busy shooting other subjects for the last couple of years, so working with models was placed firmly on the backburner. This means that my portfolio hasn't seen much updating in that time.

However, I am now getting back into working with models and will be working on rebuilding my portfolio, with all new work, over the next few months.

I am happy to work TFCD, with the right model. My emphasis has always been on having an enjoyable shoot, for both model and myself, so I am generally easy to work with.

If you want to see more of my work, click the link to 'My galleries' (bottom right of the screen) which will take you to lots of galleries of my work. Many subjects in there, but also including a lot more of my model shots.
