I love photography! It's been a passion of mine since I was given my first camera at age 12. (I still have that camera!) Photography has mostly been a hobby for me. I spent a few years as a working full-time professional photographer in the 1970s. Nowadays I take an occasional paying gig as a wedding or portrait photographer, but consider myself primarily a serious amateur.
I prefer to work with models over the age of 18. I'll work with younger models, but only if their parent or legal guardian is fully involved in the project from the beginning.
I will gladly collaborate with models on any special projects they may have in mind. (I am willing to consider SG projects.)
I prefer to work TFP/CD. If you expect a CD of prints and publishing rights in exchange for posing, then I cannot pay you.
I'm very interested in improving my lighting & composition skills for fine art nudes. I may be in a position later in 2007 to pay modeling fees to a select few, very patient figure models willing to pose while I experiment with lighting. Note: the fees I offer will be in line with college art class modeling fees. I am NOT looking for $100+/hour glamour models.
Note to Models: I will have a female assistant working with me at every shoot. I prefer to do a meet and greet before working with a model for the first time, if possible. If a personal meeting is not possible due to distance, I request a phone meeting beforehand. If you need or require a stylist or MUA and do not have one, please let me know in advance. We'll try to work something out.
Escorts are welcome as long as they behave in a professional manner and do not interfere with our work together. I would prefer that escorts be a mother, sister, same gender best friend, etc.
