I am David Bloomfield, a serious and enthusiastic amateur photographer looking to improve my photographic skills and expand my portfolio, but most of all to enjoy photography.

I shoot solely for my own pleasure so have no outside restrictions or direction to follow.

I'm interested in photoshoots with models of all ages, looks, and styles ranging from portrait to figure nude so long as the photoshoot is enjoyable and the resulting images worthwhile.

In the light of experience, I now only work with models who are enthusiastic and professional about a shoot but essentially are also fun to work with and don’t take themselves too seriously. When inviting a model for a shoot I would always consider attitude and eye contact with the camera as far more important than age, shape, or conventional looks.

I'm happy to pay commercial rates for photoshoots with selected models as well as offering the model a CD of edited images. I know many togs offer this but don't always deliver, however as I do photography and editing for pleasure (and I'm always flattered if a model wants to use my images for her own purposes) I always provide the CD as promised.

I'm also willing to consider doing TFCD or part-paid/TFCD shoots with models wishing to expand their portfolios and where I find the model interesting. I have done a number of shoots with models for whom it was their first time and in all cases these have been both fun and successful. Contact me if you want to discuss working together.

Just to confuse everyone, until 2009 I have used the name of Andrew Charleson for photography (which is why some of my references are in that name) as my day job required working in a country where nude photography is not acceptable and while working there it seemed inadvisable to have a portfolio under my real name. This why some of my references refer to "Andrew".

Most recent shoot with Jess Fenton who is an excellent mature model who has just returned to modelling. I had a shoot with Ivory Flame which was an amazing experience and produced some of my favourite images. Also over last couple of years a number of shoots with new models (including Victoria_bub on Net Model) for whom it was their first experience of modelling, a very successful and enjoyable occasion.

I have had numerous shoots with the wonderful MrsC (Annmarie) and her husband Steve Cheshire in (and in the woods outside) their studio in Suffolk - each shoot was a memorable, instructive, and inspiring experience (as well as great fun!)

Also shoots with Sam Hayles, Emilia, Carly99 (all non-studio shoots, and all on Net Model) and Kimmy_G (studio) who are all excellent figure nude models, very professional in their approach to getting good images as well as being very easy to work with.

Other favourite models I have worked with in England in the past when I was starting photography include Amanda Degas (many times, an elegant and sexy model - very professional and highly recommended) and Michelle Manzer (excellent model with very good home studio facilities), both are on Net Model.

I spent most of 2007 in Cairo (Egypt) and during my time there had portrait style shoots with four Egyptian-based models of differing nationalities who each had their first ever photoshoots with me, and were all enthusiastic and interesting models (Zonix, Nikki, Melody, and Anne Claire). A learning experience for all of us!
