STUDIO SHARE
This is a new offer from Lowford Studio designed to help all those amateur, semi pro and professional photographers out there who earn money from their photography and have not got a studio, can't afford a studio or do not have enough paid work to justify a full time studio but would like to have the professional credibility that a studio supplies and a professional location to both meet and photograph clients.
This offer will give you unlimited studio time per month to use whenever you wish (excluding Sundays) in any combination from single hours to a full day shoot.
That could be one full day model shoot, two half day fashion shoots, four 2 hour pet shoots or eight one hour family portrait shoots.
One of the concerns highlighted to me, was the problem of model no shows and loosing you studio deposit. Well, not any more. With this scheme, the hours are crossed off as you use them. If you model fails to show, you have lost nothing as you have not used your hour, so you can use it another time.
If you are making money from family or pet portraiture, whats best for you professional image. Meeting your client to a hired village hall or taking them to a fully equipped professional studio? You could even put your prices up.
Not only that but you will probably recoup the cost of you months studio time in one sitting.
This offer is is for the first ten photographers to apply only. There will be a maximum of 10 photographers who will be on the scheme at any one time.
How much does this monthly studio time cost?
The cost of unlimited use of the studio, subject to the studio share terms and conditions, is £175 per month, paid by direct debit on the first of the month and you will be required to give 4 months notice to leave the scheme.
Then you pay just £2 per hour for each hour you use.
N.B. ALL photographers on the Studio Share Scheme MUST have their own Professional Photography Insurance

Studio Facilities
The main studio is 19 ft x 22 ft and is equipped with Remote Controlled Bowens DX 500/750/1000 Flash Heads and are fired by Pocket Wizard Wireless Triggers. All suspended from a Hi-Glide Overhead System.
The Fully Equipped DUNGEON is 11 ft x 15 ft and is equipped with Bowens GM 500/750 Flash Heads fired by Pocket Wizards and suspended from a Hi-Glide Overhead System. PLUS, Daylight balanced ARRI video lighting for movie making.
The Office Studio/Coffee Bar/Rest Area (12ft x 13ft) can be fitted out with Bowens GM 500/750 heads on floor stands. These are also triggered by Pocket Wizards.
Only one hirer at a time so if you book the studio, its all yours.
Vehicle Accommodation in the studio if for Motorcycles only.
I have an extensive range of light modifiers and reflectors and all the above is in with the price of hire.
Nikon D700 Camera Hire and Ring Flash Hire are available at extra cost.
A High end Computer is also available to shoot tethered if required. (Not recommended for model days)
Tea/Coffee (Decaffeinated available) and biscuits will be available all day (free of charge) and there is a microwave also available .
There is also a small holding area for waiting photographers.
WiFi and High Speed Broadband is also available on site.
Models have there own private changing room and toilet.
Props include Italian Sofa Bed (New) various chairs, sofas and a chaise lounge (probably spelt wrong). New props for the Stable/Barn set have now been added.
Major credit cards accepted and limited printing is available on site. Model day price of £25 per 10 x 8 inch print (usual price £35).

Week Day Rates
£25 per hour (50% of hire total required as deposit on booking. 50% of deposit is charged as an administration fee. Cancellation of booking less than 72 hours before the shoot will result in a loss of deposit.

Professional Photographic Assistance/Technical Assistant £15 per hour
Charging Policy. You pay for the hours you book. How you use those hours is up to the photographer/model. All shoots should be legal and not of a nature that could bring Lowford Studio Photography in to disrepute you have access to the main studio only for the time you have booked. You are to vacate the studio by you hire end time. If you run in to another hire period, you will be charged for each 30-minute period you start. This will be at half of the appropriate hourly rate.
This will only be possible if the period immediately after the agreed hire period is free from hire by another party.
If you overrun your hire period in to another photographers hire period, you will be charged for every hour period you start at twice the appropriate hourly rate. This is to cover both studio cost and compensate the second hirer for lost studio time.
Make up, dressing and briefing time is to be included in your hire period.
Lowford Studio Terms & Conditions
- Set up and take down time must be within your timeframe to avoid extra cost.
- You are responsible for your own lighting set ups and set changes, if you require the studio to assist or do this on your behalf it is chargeable.
- Neither Lowford Studio Photography nor CCB Photography can be held responsible for the late arrival or failure of models to attend bookings.
Booking
A deposit of 50% of the studio hire fee is required at the time of booking, eg Full Day booking deposit will be £90.00 and the balance will be payable at the end of the shoot
Method of Payment
Cash or Card. Cheques will only be accepted if delivered more then 14 days before studio hire date.
Cancellation Charge
50% of your booking fee will be charged as an administration fee, if you cancel 72 hours prior to your shoot you will loose the whole booking fee unless we can rehire the studio
Breakages and damages
Any damage to the studio and equipment will be the responsibility of the person hiring the studio and will be payable at the end of the shoot.
Public Liability
Public Liability Insurance is completely the responsibility of the Photographer or person hiring the studio to ensure cover for accidents to Crew, Assistants, Models, Staff, and Team whilst on the premises of Lowford Studio Photography.
Health and Safety
CCB Photography will not under any circumstances be held responsible or liable for any injury, accident or damage caused by the person hiring the studio nor any person involved in the shoot or guest present in relation to the hirer whilst on the premises of Lowford Studio Photography.
Equipment Hire Charge
9ft wide Colorama Background Paper Roll in Black, Grey, Blue is charged at £9 per meter if damaged or dirtied (e.g. foot prints, creases).
Other colours can be brought in at £45 per roll.
Photographic Training Courses, given by Chris Brick ABIPP ASWPP, are available for both professionals and beginners.
